12:00-7:00 pm: Packet Pick Up, Simard-Payne Park
2:00-6:00 pm: Dempsey Center Open House, 29 Lowell St., 5th Floor, Lewiston
4:00 pm-12:00 am: Annual Dempsey Challenge Community Celebration in Downtown Lewiston/Auburn, more details TBD!
Saturday, October 12
6:30 am – 7:45 am: Packet Pick Up, Simard-Payne Park
7:00 am: Opening Ceremonies led by Patrick Dempsey, start stage
8:00 am: 5K Run/Walk (Runners please stage at the front; walkers and strollers at the back!)
8:20 am: 10K Run/Walk (Runners please stage at the front; walkers and strollers at the back!)
8:00 am – 1:00 pm: Free and family-friendly Festival in the Park including the Health & Wellness Expo, Positive Tracks KidZone, concessions, vendor fair, official merchandise, entertainment, massage & Reiki, Dempsey Center Spirit of Hope Tent and more!
8:30 am – 1:00 pm: Gritty McDuff’s Finish Line Beer Garden, open to the public
8:30 am – 1:00 pm: Hannaford 5&10K Café (participants only)
10:00 am – 2:00 pm: Packet Pick Up for cyclists, Simard-Payne Park
10:00 am: Amgen Breakaway from Cancer Survivor Walk
10:30 am: Thank You from Patrick Dempsey, entertainment stage
11:00 am: Positive Tracks Kids’ Fun Run
5:30 pm: Champions for Hope Celebration (invitation only; please click here for fundraising incentive information)
Sunday, October 13
6:00-7:15 am: Packet Pick Up, Simard-Payne Park
6:45am: Opening ceremonies led by Patrick Dempsey, start stage
7:30 am: Cyclists released in waves: 100-, 70-, 50-, 25-, and 10- miles
8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Free and family-friendly Festival in the Park including the Health & Wellness Expo, Positive Tracks KidZone, concessions, vendor fair, official merchandise, entertainment, massage & Reiki, Dempsey Center Spirit of Hope Tent and more!
9:30 am – last rider: Gritty McDuff’s Finish Line Beer Garden, open to the public
9:30 am – last rider: Lobster Trap (participants receive free entrance with bib ticket; tickets available at the door for $20)
3:30 pm: Closing ceremonies led by Patrick Dempsey, entertainment stage
