6 am – 7:45 am: Runner and Walker Packet Pick Up
6 am – 1 pm: Official Merchandise Tent Open
6:45 am: Opening ceremonies led by Patrick Dempsey, start stage
7:30 am: 10K Run/Walk presented by Positive Tracks
8 am: 5K Run/Walk presented by Positive Tracks
8 am – 1 pm: Free, family-friendly Festival in the Park, open to the public. Featuring food trucks, official merchandise, TD Bank KidZone, Concentra Health & Wellness Expo, Massage & Reiki tent, and more!
8:15 am – 1 pm: Hannaford 5 & 10K Café (participants only) featuring made-to-order omelets and more!
9 am – 2 pm: Cyclist Packet Pick Up
10 am: Amgen Breakaway from Cancer Survivor Walk (please visit the Spirit of Hope Tent by 9:45 am to be brought to the staging area)
10:15 am (approximate): “Thank You” from Patrick Dempsey, entertainment stage presented by Center Street Dental
11 am: Auburn Firefighters Local 797 Kids’ Fun Run, start stage
5:30 pm – 8 pm: Champions for Hope Celebration for $3,000 and above fundraisers. Click here for more information on fundraising levels and incentives.
Sunday, October 2
6 am – 7:15 am: Packet Pick Up for cyclists
6 am – 5 pm: Official Merchandise Tent Open
7 am: Opening ceremonies led by Patrick Dempsey
7:30 am: Cycling Rides, Cyclists released in waves: 100-, 70-, 50-, 25-, and 10-miles
7:30 am: Family Ride and Vivian St. Onge Memorial Rickshaw Project riders depart (immediately following release of 10 mile riders)
8 am – 5 pm Festival in the Park continues
9:30 am – the last rider! Lobster Trap (participants only) and Gritty’s/Baxter Finish Line Beer Garden (open to the public)
10:30 am – 3:15 pm Dempsey Challenge Music Festival
3:30 pm: Closing ceremonies led by Patrick Dempsey, Entertainment stage
4 pm: After Party in the Gritty’s and Baxter Brewing Finish Line Beer Garden with LIVE music!
