Volunteer for The Dempsey Challenge! Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2010 Dempsey Challenge, an event created to benefit The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. Volunteers make the Dempsey Challenge possible! We will need more than 600 volunteers collectively, before, during and after the event.  Each volunteer will receive an official Dempsey Challenge tee shirt! Here are some resources to answer your questions about volunteering and available positions: 1.  Frequently Asked Questions for Volunteers 2.  Volunteer Position Descriptions If you are interested in signing up to volunteer, read below for instructions on how to fill out the volunteer form. The first page of the form contains available positions. Please be very careful when selecting your position(s). If you are registering for multiple shifts, be sure the time commitments DO NOT overlap. Each registered volunteer MUST use a different email address. For instance, if you and your spouse share an email account, only one of you can use this email address when completing the volunteer form. The second page of the volunteer form captures important information about you such as address, telephone number and emergency contact.  You must be at least 12 years old to volunteer.  If you are under age 18, you must be accompanied during the event by a parent or legal guardian. The guardian/parent must also be a registered volunteer and sign a waiver during volunteer check in for both themselves and the minor. You will receive your position information on the last page of the registration process.  Important:  Please be sure to print this page for your records.  A confirmation email will be sent to you but it will not include your position information.
