at Simard-Payne Police Memorial Park,
46 Beech Street, Lewiston, Maine 04240
On event days please allow yourself extra time to find parking, pick up your packet and make it to the starting line. Pedestrian traffic will make the park and Oxford Street (starting line) very congested. On Saturday Oct. 13 there will be road closures in Lewiston in effect. Specific times will be posted and included in participant and volunteer guides.
In order to pick up your packet or the packet of a friend or teammate (containing your bib [AKA your "badge of honor"], Dempsey Challenge T-shirt, water bottle and other goodies) each participant 18 or older will have had to have met the $150 minimum fundraising requirement. If presenting at PPU with less than the minimum fundraising requirement met you will be asked to please make up the difference. Those under the age of 18 must submit a minor participant waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to, or signed on site at Packet Pick-Up, or he/she will not be able to participate (please submit in advance if possible). Children ages 12 and under must also be accompanied by a participating adult, in addition to submitting the signed waiver. Note: The deadline to submit the Team Packet Pick-Up Form has passed. If you did not fill out this form, you still may pick up multiple packets, but they will not be bundled together.
